Segundo informações da Variety (via ComingSoon), Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Dune) irá estrelar e produzir Sweet Girl, novo filme da Netflix.

Em Sweet Girl, Momoa irá interpretar um marido que promete trazer justiça às pessoas responsáveis pela morte de sua esposa, enquanto também protege sua filha.

O filme foi roteirizado por Gregg Hurwitz e Philip Eisner, com revisões de Will Staples. Brian Andrew Mendoza (Braven, Frontier) está dirigindo o projeto. Brad Peyton e Jeff Fierson da ASAP Entertainment irão produzir ao lado de Momoa. Martin Kistler será o produtor executivo.
