A Square Enix anunciou que Dragon Quest Heroes II irá receber updates de conteúdo gratuitos por um mês. A partir de hoje, os jogadores poderão aproveitar as novidades, que incluem novas armas de gosma e quests. Além disso, teremos novidades para o modo multiplayer.

O primeiro update irá trazer os episódios Maribel & Ruff, e o episódio Torneko. Outras atualizações ao longo do mês trarão novos episódios focando em personagens secundários da franquia. Além disso, teremos novas sidequests, inimigos e chefes para enfrentar. E, por último, uma quest para poder obter a maior magia cooperativa do jogo.
