Durante sua conferência na E3 2018, a Electronic Arts anunciou Command & Conquer: Rivals, um jogo de estratégia em tempo real e em PVP. Usando a interface touch dos smartphones e tablets, Command & Conquer: Rivals dará ao jogador controle de seus exércitos enquanto eles enfrentam batalhas focadas em movimentação e o uso inteligente de recursos.

Os jogadores irão escolher entre as facções Global Defense Initiative e Brotherhood of Nod, escolhendo seus Comandantes favoritos para controlar seus exércitos definitivos na batalha.

“Como grandes fãs do gênero de estratégia, nós queríamos construir um grande RTS para mobile. Rivals tem o espírito da franquia Command & Conquer e reimagina o gameplay para entregar nossa visão,” disse Michael Martinez, Gerente Geral no Redwood Studios, responsável pelo jogo.
